- New Year’s Day
On the first day of the year, fly the flag to start it out right. January 1 marks the beginning of the new year in the Gregorian calendar, so don’t forget to put out your flags and show your patriotic spirit.
- Inauguration Day
Inauguration Day marks the start of a new four-year term of a president. Even if the president is entering their second term, they must still go through a second inauguration. To mark this presidential ceremony, fly your American flag high on January 20.
